July 24, 2010 - Lupot Violin Copy Started

Using some very old spruce and maple which I've had sitting around for awhile, I started a full size copy of a Lupot violin. Nicolas Lupot was a highly respected and quality French maker who made in the style of Stradivarius, so much so that by some he has been called ' The French Stradivarius'. Click on the picture below for a look at the process.

If you are interested in trying it, do contact me and come by the workshop. For it's 'official' glam pictures in full set up, go to the Instruments for Sale page.
