Fine Strings is owned and operated by Olivia Pelling, a Luthier based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Olivia is a second generation Luthier who comes from a family with a strong tradition of Lutherie and Craftmanship in Canada and Europe.

Over the past 10 years Olivia has trained academically and professionally in Canada and England and has been recognized in her early career by the Rowan Armour-Brown Trust Fund (UK). Fine Strings provides a full range of services to beginner, intermediate and professional musicians including instrument sales and commissions, repairs and bow rehairing.
